What is the future for you, me and the machine? Aeon Industries is a hybrid arts warehouse exploring selfhood & human experience in the age of pervasive technology.

We are an inter-disciplinary practice that creates interactive experiences & performances that blend tech, audiovisuals, music, performance and art. We ask questions about inter-personal communication, intimacy and subjective satisfaction in a rapidly changing world.

As a playground for future-focused makers, technologists & thinkers, we collaboratively build ideas of tomorrow, then bring them to life in ways you make you stop, look, think, feel, and want to be a part of.

In a world that feels fragmented and unsure, we want to create better human experiences that give people vital new senses of belonging.

User18081971 - Composer

Our practice is split into three distinct categories. Aeon Originals is the heart of our world: developing and creating original artworks and other IP (e.g. new formats / franchises) that push forward the cultural, artistic agenda of our generation.

Our flagship project is Aeon, a fully immersive, 360 degree interactive a/v & dance show, which we are currently taking through R&D. Other original pieces in development include a 'living sculpture' that is kept active using people's attention, and a new live music format called 'Brainrave' that allows audience and artist to co-conduct a performance using the power of their mind.

White Label / CommerciaL

Building on our signature original pieces and network of talent, we offer white label creative services to brands and agencies, either as individuals or as a team directly managing briefs.

We want to improve the human quality of commercially funded communications projects, to make audience-first, mutually beneficial work that makes the commercial arts/content world a friendlier place to exist.

The commercial work featured on this website is a mixture of direct-to-client work supplied by Aeon Industries (e.g. ASOS, Acute Art), and projects at creative agencies in which creative director Alex Hoban has played a key role (e.g. AKQA, R/GA).

Proprietary Products & Systems

A third category currently in development is off-the-shelf experiential & entertainment products and systems, for the eventual purposes of licensing at scale. We can't say too much about this now, but we think you'll like it when we're ready to share.

Aeon Industries is an interdisciplinary creative warehouse incubating raw ideas & unique collaborations, brought to life through arts funding and compelling partnerships with brands and cultural institutions. We have a strong vision and ethos, but we still have a long long way to go - and we won't be able to do it alone.

If you are a creative technologist, developer, thinker, videomaker, designer, art director, a philanthropic arts investor, an agency looking for an injection of fresh ideas, or a marketing exec at a brand who has been convinced by all the flashing imagery herein - get in touch, we'd be honoured to hear from you!
